FEET
These are the beginning of my final project that will be a series on my feet. I find that these were very planned out and do not say what I want them to. They look to staged. My following pictures will be more natural settings. I will use my normal process of being in a space and seeing what comes to me.

SELF PORTRAITS???
This is my second attempt at self portraiture. The image in the building seems overly busy for my style. The beach pictures are a challenge for me. To get to the beach early enough that I will not run into any other people and that it is freezing that early in the morning. Although I am not satisfied with this image I am very drawn to the direction that it is taking me. Showing freedom in the space. I want to begin to combine my figure into the spaces that I explore.

MARIN HEADLANDS
These images were both taken at the Marin Headlands using the ANSCO PIX PANORAMA. The ANSCO is a simple and light point-and-shoot camera. It crates a panoramic format by using a mask over a regular 35mm frame. The camera was fun to use, looking through a different format changes how one views what you are about to shoot. Most of the negatives were horrible, possible because I held a red filter over the lens anytime the sky was in the image.

MIDTERM
These images are a documentation of my pinhole photography process. All of my images are self-portraits that show the solitude of the places that I choose to photograph. I have found that the use of the Holga camera speaks to the simplicity of my method. The vignetting gives the viewer a “looking in” feeling, a view that is necessary since I always photograph alone. The Holga is the most accurate way to show the self-reflective mood that comes with the long pinhole exposure.

HOLGA PLAYMOBIL
Used the holga to take color images of my playmobil toys. The figures were not in focus because they were too close to the camera. I am choosing not to post those images.
